Since February huh? I have been busy since then. So let's go over the highlights and low points of '08.

Good times (Otherwise known as a room full of people throwing around high fives and Prince comes in wailing on guitar. Purple rain mother fucker.)

- Found gainful employment at a video game company. Turbine. Started March 16, 2008.
- Two days before I left my other job was told that they were to be shut down within a couple of months. I miss Ibis.
- Moved in with Jess in Pawtucket.
- Almost paid off all my debts (Besides car payment)
- Bought a HD TV.
- Started budgeting and controlling my spending habits.
- Actually had money in the bank.
- Found that assisting gamers with their technical gaming issues can be rewarding.
- Worked two jobs at one time several times and found it to be joyous.
- Went back to Ibis and realized how much I missed it.
- Met so many new friends but I keep realizing how much of a shut in I enjoy being.

Well... there are the pros. Here is the fuckery.

- Was let go from Turbine ten days before X-mas.
- Got to see Ibis get shuttered down. That was extremely sad.
- Had to expand my job search to other states and moved back home. I miss Jess.
- Found that assisting gamers with their technical gaming issues is too stressful. Being let go was kind of a relief.
- Didn't get to do as much as I wanted to but that is alright I guess.
- Another 360 broke again.

2009 has been interesting

- Started working for a law firm
- Trying to find a new place in CT
- Going to have to move from one state to another. Ugh.
- Met more awesome friends
- Got asked to be a best man at a wedding. I'll let you know how that goes.

Anywho, back to work. I'll try to update this more often.

Had an interview on Thursday at Turbine. Was a really fun interview and seems like a company that I could work for and advance in. Paycut though...

So I am currently working two jobs.

Yeah, rah, awesome.

I fucking hate it. My second job causes so much stress it isn't even funny. Psoraisis is a miserable disease, the minimum wage to work this job is not even worth it.

Why do I stay?

The people there are really nice and awesome. A wish upon the stars is sent so I might become rich, so I could provide jobs for them.

The world dictates being a slave to yourself though. Fuck all if else fails.

I hate douchebags who call and prank call me at the second job. Hopefully it makes their tiny pricks fill with glee and in the future they will get raped by a pack of roving rabid wolverines. I am not even angry about the battletoad pranks, that at least is original. I just enjoy people calling up and coming up with something that would make me go "That would be cool. Why isn't that out." That is fine.

Apparently people just enjoy calling up to insult the staff. Like I said. Rape.

After tearing apart my hands trying to put a new brakes on my car, I went and got my copy of Rock Band. It's a great investment if you have several friends, though my friends tend to want to Bogart certain instruments. I just like playing by myself sometimes, so I can play what I want when I want and pretend I am Mike Patton and do a back flip off of my bed.

I picked up the In Flames DVD set that I have been meaning to pick up for a couple of years now. Brilliant.

Working a second job on top of my current 40+ a week is starting to make me feel like I am slowly boiling down like a pot of water.

Debt, I hate it.

Can't complain though, got a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue coming. Delicious. Savor it........... or have my dad steal it and claim it' s his. I admitted to him several years ago that when I was sixteen I procured his Jagermeister and Creme-de-menthe. It was a fun night, but it has been years of torment from him.

Oh well, back to work I go.

Unboxing... the love of geek

So I purchased an iPhone the other day. I absolutely love this thing, the best part was the unboxing though. Geeks rarely talk about this, but it is my favorite part of getting a new toy to play with.

I should post up some pictures of the boxes of the iPhone, but I am lazy and too far from the box to take pictures. By saying I am too far from the box, I am about 70 miles from it. I also managed to pick up Halo 3 standing in a line with over 300 other mouth breathers.

I will play some more this week... oh wait! I don't have to. I already beaten it.

Halo 3 gets a "Meh.... it's halo 3.... it was overhyped..... at least the multiplayer was good" out of five.

Hotel Dusk for DS (Store credit/Freebie for me being such a good buy to myself this year)

I am kind of upset that I am not working tomorrow. If I were to, I would have bought mario kart so me and the rest of the 2nd shift crew could have enjoyed some awesome Wi-Fi action.

Speaking of....buzzer....what the hell...... should our hero investigate?

What a freaking boring day. No work.

It's been like this for a month, I don't know if I should be nervous or if I should look for another job. I'll give it a bit longer before I give that thought. I like it here, plus there are good benefits.

Speaking of Jobs, Steve Jobs. Apple called me the other day and offered me a position at the Genius Bar (Starting at like 35 k or so). Meh, not worth it for me. Though I would have a chance to move up and the like, I just want a part time job to hold me over in the meanwhile.

Alright, back to the grind.

So I ask myself, why the hell am I sitting here.

It's 9:23 on a sunday night and I am stuck at work with no work to do.

I am listening to people talk about Pirates 3. I could care less about it, the only movie I have a slight urge to see is Transformers. Oh about that....

M. Bay, you mess this movie up for me I swear I will never see another 'film' by you. You are riding on a film with fanbase that is massive, don't mess it up. Only reasons I might see this 'film' are Bad Boys, Bad Boys II and The Rock.

Why do I use the term 'Film'? Just.... meh...... besides those movies he doesn't make me enjoy sitting in the theater.
